On Tuesday 29 May 2018, CHSH in conjunction with BDO invited participants to attend an event focussing on start-ups and the venture capital scene.

On Wednesday 11 April 2018, Dr. Tamás Polauf – Co-Managing Partner at CHSH Bu-dapest and editor of the recently published Actions for Damages under Competition Law – A Handbook for Legal Practice – invited guests in collaboration with Wolters Kluwer to attend the book launch and panel discussion at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Budapest.

The European Commission imposed a (still appealable) fine of EUR 124.5 million on Altice, a Dutch cable and telecommunications company.

On 24 April 2018, CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati staged the CHSH "Big Deal" event for the eleventh time. As part of the "Big Deal" workshop, fifteen high potentials simulated an M&A transaction and received valuable practical tips and advice.

At this year's Chambers Europe Awards in Madrid, CHSH received for the fourth time the renowned “Client Service Law Firm of the Year” Award 2018 in recognition of the excellent service it provides its clients.
