The second edition – which has been significantly expanded, especially with regard to industry regulations and the provisions of the German law on limited liability companies – was recently unveiled at a special event held at the Austrian Academy of Sciences.

The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Ulrich Torggler LL.M. (University of Vienna). Among the many other guests present were Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sonja Bydlinski (Austrian Takeover Commission), Dr. Ernst Pucher (Metropolitan Court of the Archdiocese of Vienna), Univ.-Prof. Dr. Friedrich Harrer (University of Salzburg), Hon.-Prof. Dr. Michael Rohregger (President of the Vienna Bar Association), Hon.-Prof. Dr. Irene Welser (CERHA HEMPEL) and Assoc. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sebastian Bergmann (University of Linz).

In the new commentary, 46 authors – from judicial officers, notaries public, attorneys and chartered accountants to legal professionals in the private and public sectors – present their professional experience of the legislation throughout its 2,900 pages. The focus is on addressing the questions and issues that are of particular practical relevance.
