CERHA HEMPEL acted as lead counsel to SES Spar European Shopping Centers GmbH (“SES”) on the purchase of the Arkadia Shopping Center retail park in Domžale, near Ljubljana. Signing of the share deal took place in early June 2025; closing remains subject to merger-control
clearance.
The seller is Generali Adriatic Value Fund I, managed by Generali Investments Slovenija, which
disposed of the asset by way of a share deal.
Opened in 2016, the retail park offers 19 units covering approx. 11,000 sq m of GLA and provides
346 surface parking spaces. Anchor tenants include a 3,000 sq m SPAR hypermarket,
Müller, C&A, CCC, Hervis and Deichmann, making Arkadia one of the largest and most modern
retail parks in the Ljubljana region.
