MMag. Dr. Stefan Huber, LL.M., PD Dr. Nicolas Raschauer
Major success for the environmental law team at CHSH:
The Administrative Court has confirmed the ruling of the Federal Administrative Court which rejected a decision relating to an environmental impact assessment for the 220 kV overhead line between Weidenburg and Somplago. The Environmental Ombudsmen for Carinthia engaged the services of CHSH to represent it before the Administrative Court and was thus able to put forward all key arguments.
"Any environmental impact assessment is a complex legal matter. In the present case, aspects of administrative law were also of decisive importance in addition to environmental issues. The fact that the Administrative Court in its judgment shared our view in both respects pleases us immensely and it demonstrates our strength in such matters," Stefan Huber, partner at CHSH who specialises in environmental law.
For CHSH, this success underscores the quality of the environmental law team, which acquired additional expertise last year when PD Dr. Nicolas Raschauer joined the firm. The client was consequently advised by partner Dr. Stefan Huber and PD Dr. Nicolas Raschauer.
