The Austrian Federal Competition Authority organised a competition law moot court for the third time in a row this year. On 16 May 2017 the oral hearing took place on the premises of the Vienna University for Economics and Business Administration and the team Juridicum 1, consisting of Claudia Pöttinger, Paul Nimmerfall and Daniel Metz, succeeded in the final. The team has been supervised by CHSH, namely Bernhard Kofler-Senoner (Partner) and Stefan Hirner (Associate). Among others Johannes Laitenberger (Director General for Competition of the European Commission) and Theodor Thanner (Director General of the Austrian Federal Competition Authority) have been in the audience. The moot court jury has been headed by Nikolaus Schaller, judge at the Austrian Cartel Court.

The event was once again a great success and CHSH congratulates the winners as well as all other participating students, who gained valuable practical competition law experience.
