Dr. Bernhard Kofler-Senoner, LL.M. invited guests to attend an event held on 18 June 2015 in the conference rooms of CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati that focussed on anti-trust law. Attended by numerous prominent representatives from the business community, the event sought to examine and discuss "current questions and answers regarding online trading and dawn raids".
Everyone is talking about anti-trust law. It's on everyone's lips: Fines and dawn raids have unsettled a lot of companies and made them sit up and take notice. In everyday practice, questions remain unanswered despite compliance programmes.
In light of this, CHSH attorneys MMag. Dr. Michael Mayer and Dr. Katerina Schenkova, LL.M. gave a joint lecture on the following subject: "The e-commerce sector inquiry conducted by the European Commission: opportunities and risks for manufacturers and retailers". After the lecture, CHSH partner and head of the anti-trust team Dr. Bernhard Kofler-Senoner, LL.M. looked at the subject of "dawn raids" and discussed "best practice" examples since the new rules came into effect in 2013.
