CERHA HEMPEL has every reason to celebrate after receiving yet another international accolade. At this year's IFLR Europe Awards, CERHA HEMPEL received the "Austria Firm of the Year" award for 2026.
The internationally renowned International Financial Law Review (IFLR) singled out for praise those law firms that have been involved in the most innovative cross-border transactions in Europe in the past year. In making the award, IFLR looked at the degree of difficulty, complexity, innovation and the market impact of the deals.
In explaining its decision, the IFLR jury highlighted, among other things, the firm’s unmatched leadership in market-shaping M&A, and its innovative cross-border financing work, noting that peer feedback further corroborated the firm’s strong standing in the market.
The award was presented during the ceremony on 11 June 2026 in London.
