At the "Family-Friendly Employers 2025/2026" event, CERHA HEMPEL Rechtsanwälte GmbH was once again awarded the 'berufundfamilie' state certificate.
The certificate was officially presented to CERHA HEMPEL by Federal Minister Claudia Bauer during an award ceremony hosted on 15 September 2026 at the Vienna Chamber of Commerce. The award was accepted on behalf of the firm by CERHA HEMPEL Partner Dr. Michaela Siegwart.
"As a commercial law firm, we're absolutely delighted to have once again been awarded the 'berufundfamilie' certificate. We aim to use this re-certification to further strengthen our firm as an employer: through flexible measures that take into account the different stages of life our employees are currently in, and through greater visibility of existing schemes and a modern management culture", said Partner Dr. Michaela Siegwart.
The 'berufundfamilie' audit is a three-year sustainable improvement process that CERHA HEMPEL started going through for the first time back in the autumn of 2022. Measures that have already been put in place and new initiatives that will be implemented step by step in the years to come were bundled together as part of a compatibility concept. These measures include, among other things, creating targeted professional development incentives for managers, expanding specialist training for employees, and improving the visibility of benefits and services through storytelling (on the intranet and in newsletters).
The award highlights the firm's commitment to fostering a modern and family-friendly working culture, thereby reinforcing its position as an attractive employer in a highly competitive labour market.
