CERHA HEMPEL has advised CA Immobilien Anlagen AG, a company publicly listed on the stock exchange in Austria, in connection with the sale of two office buildings (BBC1 and BBC1Plus) in Bratislava to a fund managed by Wood & Co.
The transaction was structured as a share deal. Closing took place in February 2021.
The BBC1 and BBC1Plus office buildings occupy a central location in Bratislava. The buildings have around 25,500m² of lettable floor space and are LEED Gold certified.
For this transaction, CERHA HEMPEL was once again able to draw on the expertise of its excellent CEE network and successfully complete this cross-border transaction even under difficult lockdown conditions.
"We're pleased that CA Immo once again placed its trust in our advisory services and that we were able to contribute successfully to streamlining its portfolio. The benefits of having our own CEE network are particularly noticeable in light of the difficulties that have been caused by COVID-19, especially when clients need seamless cross-border advisory services," said Mark Krenn, Partner and Head of the CEE Real Estate Practice Group at CERHA HEMPEL.
The team at CERHA HEMPEL consisted of Mark Krenn (Lead Partner, Vienna), Filip Ballok (Attorney, Vienna), Jozef Bannert (Partner, Bratislava) and Zuzana Bannert Mikulová (Senior Associate, Bratislava).
