ARS-Training Session EU Listing Act and change in prospectus laws

Peter Knobl, partner at CERHA HEMPEL and Alexander Russ, founding partner of eunomia, conducted a training session for employees of in-house issuing departments of banks and other issuers on 14 Sept 2023 organized by the Austrian Academy for Law and Taxes. The topics covered changes in prospectus related laws due to the Commission‘s proposal for an EU Listing Act, additional amendment proposals provided by the EU and legal issues of prospectus liability and investors‘ withdrawal rights. The dense programme, in particular in its part on EU amendment proposals on capital markets regulation, was vividly welcome by the participants during the training session.
