EU Taxonomy FAQs

The Draft Commission Notice on the interpretation and implementation of certain legal provisions of the EU Taxonomy Environmental Delegated Act, the EU Taxonomy Climate Delegated Act and the EU Taxonomy Disclosures Delegated Act ("EU Taxonomy FAQs") was published by the European Commission on 29 November 2024. Its text can be read here. 

The EU Taxonomy FAQs clarify and facilitate the application of various legal provisions that are part of the EU Taxonomy. They do not introduce any new legal obligations, but rather support stakeholders in the practical implementation of the existing legal requirements. 

The EU Taxonomy FAQs were initially published in English and will be formally adopted once they have been translated into all official languages of the European Union.
