CERHA HEMPEL partner Peter Knobl (specialized in banking & capital markets) recently published two articles(„WAG 2018 – Zur Vor-Ort-Verfügbarkeit qualifizierter Berater“„Die Schaffung und Übertragung von Wertrechten via Blockchain-Technologie") examining legal questions relating to the use of new technologies for the provision of investment advice and the transfer of title to securities.

Legal issues and questions relating to the use of new technologies for the provision of investment advice and the transfer of securities and uncertificated securities via block chain technologies have been the subject of repeated analysis by CERHA HEMPEL. "If our clients are concerned with the integration of digitalised transaction processes and means of communication into traditional banking sectors, we – as their legal advisers and representatives – also see it as our task to examine how existing laws can be applied to new technologies and to come up with suggestions for the adoption of new legislation", explains Peter Knobl, partner at CERHA HEMPEL specialising in Banking & Capital Markets.
