We are a young team at CERHA HEMPEL. With an average age of 33, one third of our attorneys are women, and an equal number of Austrian and international attorneys in our Central and Eastern European offices, our team reflects the environment in which our clients operate. When recruiting new employees, we invest considerable time and resources in to ensuring that we employ and train only the very best candidates. Apart from having an outstanding academic record in Austria and abroad, what we value most in our employees is an excellent command of English and the right personal qualities. We are, therefore, looking for applicants who want to belong to the very best of the best and are comfortable in a challenging and demanding environment. Successful candidates are expected to have an outstanding academic record, exceptional specialist knowledge, and to have completed relevant internships in legal departments and/or gained experience as a graduate assistant at a university. Moreover, a postgraduate or doctoral degree, publications and an excellent knowledge of legal English would also form a very good basis for working on complex, international cases. Personal integrity together with an entrepreneurial way of thinking are also required. On the administrative side, you can best support our teams by having an excellent knowledge of English, completed secondary education and, depending on the position, relevant work experience.

Working with various colleagues in a variety of teams will help you to quickly get to grips with our areas of legal practice, tasks and internal guidelines.
