CERHA HEMPEL expands its antitrust practice with the addition of Benno Šiftar (32)

Benno Šiftar recently joined CERHA HEMPEL's antitrust practice. After working for several years as a case handler at the Slovenian Competition Authority, he has joined the team head-ed by Dr. Bernhard Kofler-Senoner.

Benno Šiftar recently joined CERHA HEMPEL's antitrust practice. After working for several years as a case handler at the Slovenian Competition Authority, he has joined the team headed by Dr. Bernhard Kofler-Senoner.

After graduating from the University of Vienna in 2015, Benno Šiftar went on to complete a master's degree at the Brussels School of Competition Law. He then spent several years working at the Slovenian Competition Authority and for the European Commission.

His practice areas at CERHA HEMPEL include antitrust investigations at the EU and national level, merger control and state aid law.
