ÖGNI presents the manifesto "The Future of Living and Working" with the participation of CERHA HEMPEL

In light of the changes to "living" and "working" wrought by the coronavirus, the Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI) founded in May 2020 a working group to examine "The Future of Living and Working", consisting of experts from the fields of architecture, real estate development, real estate consulting, and innovation and project management.

Senior Counsel Mag. Matthias Nödl (from the Real Estate & Construction Team at CERHA HEMPEL) was a member of the working group.

As a result of the work carried out by this working group, the Austrian Sustainable Building Council presented the manifesto "The Future of Living and Working" on 13 April 2021, which also includes a contribution from CERHA HEMPEL on the legal and fiscal framework for living and working in the future. The manifesto is intended to take the complexity out of the highly topical subject of "living and working", to create new momentum, and to make a contribution to charting a course towards creating a sustainable future.

Therefore, the Real Estate & Construction team at CERHA HEMPEL has once again – in view of the participation of partner Dr. Peter Vcelouch in the Austrian Sustainable Building Council’s "Buildings & Energy" working group and in drafting its "Buildings & Energy" position paper published in April 2020 – actively participated in a stimulating project initiated by the Austrian Sustainable Building Council to promote a sustainable future.
