CERHA HEMPEL Partner Dr. Peter Vcelouch gave a lecture on the topic "Örtliche Bauaufsicht" together with Arch. DI Berndt Simlinger at the zt akademie.

On 15 October 2020 Dr. Clemens Hasenauer, LL.M./MBA and Univ. Prof. MMag. Dr. Sabine Kirchmayr (University of Vienna) gave a joint lecture on the "Takeover battle in the crisis" as part of the opening session of the 24th Annual Forum for Law and Tax (RuSt 2020). To conclude the RuSt 2020, Dr. Hasenauer moderated a panel discussion on "Back to normal? Lessons from the Covid-19 crisis" on 16 October 2020.

On 13 October 2020, CERHA HEMPEL Partner Dr. Hans Kristoferitsch, LL.M. gave a lecture on "Online Advertising: The Distribution of Roles under Data Protection Law in relation to Programmatic Buying (Publishers, Advertisers, Agencies and Platforms)" at the imh Special Day on Data Protection.

On 8 October 2020, CERHA HEMPEL Partner Dr. Thomas Trettnak, LL.M./CM moderated a panel of the AVCO Annual Conference 2020 on "Value Creation Drivers in Growth Capital and Buyouts", taking place from 3.10 pm to 4 pm.

On 8 October, the first D-A-CH Competition Law Conference (D-A-CH Kartellrechtsforum) discussed „Relative Dominance – Open questions and developments“ via Zoom.

On 6 October 2020, CERHA HEMPEL Attorney Univ.-Prof. DDr. Peter Lewisch and Partner Mag. Dr. Stefan Huber, LL.M. gave a lecture at the symposium on commercial law and D&O responsibility organised by the Federal Ministry of Justice.

CERHA HEMPEL Counsel Dr. Katharina Majchrzak gave an overview of "Waren- und Dienstleistungsverzeichnis von Marken als Herausforderung für die Beratungspraxis" at the IP-Day 2020 taking place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
