The eight-year bond will bear interest at 3.125% per annum and was primarily subscribed by investors in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Austria. The bond was issued as part of the EUR 2.5 billion EMTN program launched in April 2012. The transaction was the seventh successful bond placement by the Telekom Austria Group on the Eurobond market, with Telekom's lowest ever coupon.

A bank consortium made up of BNP Paribas, JP Morgan and Raiffeisenbank International arranged the bond issue.

The team at CHSH consisted of partner Volker Glas and attorney Gernot Wilfling.
