Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati has advised the international disposal and recycling company Saubermacher AG in connection with its joint venture "Pink Robin" with French company Veolia Environment S.A. The joint venture will in future make it possible for professional waste disposal services to be arranged in Austria, Germany, France and the United Kingdom via the innovative online platform "wastebox.biz".
The digital platform and app "wastebox.biz" was developed by Saubermacher AG and connects customers and waste disposal contractors in real time. By collaborating with partners as part of a franchise system, the goal is to develop "wastebox.biz" into the leading disposal company for construction waste. Through its minority shareholding in Pink Robin GmbH, a subsidiary of Saubermacher, the international environmental group Veolia is entering into a strategic partnership regarding the digitalisation of the waste disposal business and is now bringing the platform to the German market for the first time. 50 waste disposal partners are already part of the wastebox.biz network in Austria.
