Dr. Holger Bielesz strengthens the dispute resolution team at CERHA HEMPEL as a partner from 1 January 2020. Prior to joining CERHA HEMPEL, Dr. Bielesz was a partner at Wolf Theiss Rechtsanwälte in Vienna.
Dr. Holger Bielesz, LL.M., studied law at the universities of Vienna and Fribourg (Switzerland) and at the College of Europe in Bruges. In the past 15 years, he has specialised in litigation and the resolution of commercial disputes, including in the fields of white collar crime and compliance. His practice areas include in particular providing representation to banks and financial institutions and supporting businesses in strategically relevant liability proceedings under civil and corporate law. In this regard, he recently represented a renowned international bank before the European Court of Justice and institutional investors in bail-in proceedings in Austria.
