Bulgaria

The Measures and Actions in State of Emergency Act (“Act”) enters into force retroactively as of 13.03.2020 and shall apply until lifting of the state of emergency. Certain provisions shall apply as of the date of publication of the Act.

Romania is, as of 16 March 2020, under state of emergency, as per the Decree issued by the President of Romania (the “Decree”) and unanimously approved by the Romanian Parliament.

Bulgaria

In view of the public health emergency caused by the COVID-19 outbreak the Bulgarian Parliament declared state of emergency on Friday, 13 March and the Bulgarian Minister of Health introduced a number of anti-epidemic emergency rules with effect until 29th of March.
