The upcoming Viennese healthcare start-up tech2people has successfully completed a further capital increase with equity contributions of more than EUR 800,000 in order to expand its innovative neuro-, physio- and ergotherapy services and to pursue its mission to improve the quality of life of people with neurological diseases and physical disabilities. This milestone was achieved in close collaboration with CERHA HEMPEL's prestigious legal team.
The start-up's innovative technology combines advanced exoskeleton technology with specifically developed therapy programs to help patients regain mobility and quality of life. This unique approach has already attracted considerable attention and promises pioneering developments in the field of rehabilitation and therapy.
The legal team consisting of partners Mag. Jakob Hartig, LL.M. (lead) and Mag. Heinrich Foglar-Deinhardstein, LL.M. and associate Marcus Lusar, LL.M., BSc. (all corporate) successfully advised the start-up company on all legal issues related to the capital increase. This included advising on the capital structure, negotiating investor agreements and ensuring legal compliance. The expertise of this CERHA HEMPEL team was decisive in ensuring a smooth and efficient capital increase.
"tech2people is an outstanding example of innovation in the healthcare sector and we are proud to support them on their growth path" said Jakob Hartig, Partner at CERHA HEMPEL. "The work of tech2people is helping to improve the lives of people around the world and we are confident that tech2people will continue to make great strides."
The capital increase of tech2people was a great success and will enable this start-up to further develop its technology, expand its therapy offering in the newly opened therapy centre in Vienna's Seestadt and increase its market presence. This is an important milestone for the start-up and proof of the investors' confidence in its mission.
"We are very excited about the successful capital increase. The team at CERHA HEMPEL has been with us since the very beginning and has once again supported us in a highly professional and efficient manner,", says Gregor Demblin, founder of tech2people.
