Acting as transaction counsel, CERHA HEMPEL advised OMV on all legal matters relating to the sale of its AVANTI service station network in Germany to the PKN Orlen Group, a Polish energy group.

CERHA HEMPEL advised voestalpine AG in connection with its EUR 250 million convertible bond issue.

On 12 May 2023, the majority shareholder Talents Squared Limited sold and transferred its 90% stake in Modul University Vienna to a subsidiary of the Hungarian Mathias Corvinus Collegium.

The certificate was officially presented to CERHA HEMPEL by Federal Minister Susanne Raab during an award ceremony hosted on 10 May 2023 at Palais Berg in Vienna.

CERHA HEMPEL is pleased to have advised CA Immo on the successful sale of the Víziváros Business Center in Budapest. Located in the "Central Buda" office district in the west of Budapest, the Víziváros Office Center has a total lettable area of around 14,200 sqm and was 96% let as at 31 December 2022. The buyer is the FLE SICAV FIS real estate fund managed by FLE GmbH.

CERHA HEMPEL has advised RHI Magnesita GmbH ("RHI Magnesita") in connection with the acquisition of shareholdings in several Seven Refractories subsidiaries operating in Europe, India and US for a purchase price of approx. EUR 93 million.

On Wednesday 26 April 2023, another Legal Perspectives event was held in the conference rooms of CERHA HEMPEL. This time, the focus was squarely on the hot topic of "Environmental Social Governance – ESG". Univ. Prof. MMag.
