Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati has advised the Excellence Research Centre of the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST-A) on establishing an incubator for spin-offs. The incubator has been jointly established by IST-A and an international investor.

The advice was provided in connection with complex issues and included – in addition to corporate law – questions concerning state aid law, the institutional law applicable to research institutes and capital markets law.

"As a leading law firm in the field of further education and science, we're pleased to have provided advice on establishing the first spin-off incubator in Austria", explained CHSH Partner Stefan Huber who has advised IST-A on a number of occasions.

Corporate Partner Heinrich Foglar-Deinhardstein once again underscores the high degree of complexity and the need for interdisciplinary cooperation regarding various practice areas at CHSH: "CHSH has shown it's capable of providing comprehensive advice covering all of the relevant legal fields at the highest level".

In addition to Dr. Stefan Huber and Mag. Heinrich Foglar-Deinhardstein, the team at CHSH comprised Dr. Peter Knobl and Dr. Andrea Harrich (both capital markets law) and Mag. Jakob Hartig (corporate).
