The Yearbook on International Arbitration, co-edited by CHSH Managing Partner Irene Welser, which has meanwhile become the standard Austrian publication for issues relating to arbitration, was unveiled on Friday 4 March 2011 in Palais Todesco, with significant national and international participation. Once again, Hon.-Prof. Dr. Irene Welser was not only co-editor, but also contributed an article to the publication entitled “M&A Post Closing Issues”. This book presentation is an integral part of “Vienna Arbitration Days”, the leading conference on arbitration which is held at the Academy of Sciences (Akademie der Wissenschaften) in Vienna. Senior Partner Dr. Benedikt Spiegelfeld headed the international panel “Arbitration Rules on the Move”, which addressed – among other things – the issue of the reworking of the ICC Arbitration Rules, and Irene Welser was on this year’s Organisation Committee. Over the course of two days, 230 people from over 30 countries took part in lively discussions with the “Who’s Who” of the Austrian and international arbitration scene.
