On 12 July 2017, the Austrian Federal Minister of Finance, Dr. Hans Jörg Schelling, presented the Grand Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Republic of Austria to Dr. Edith Hlawati, Senior Partner at Vienna law firm CHSH Cerha Hempel Spiegelfeld Hlawati Rechtsanwälte GmbH, in the presence of numerous guests.
The CEO of Austrian Post, Dr. Georg Pölzl, paid tribute to Dr. Hlawati at the award ceremony. Federal Minister Dr. Schelling said during his speech: "For many years, Dr. Hlawati – the renowned Senior Partner at an international law firm – has served the Republic by representing its interests on the supervisory boards of industrial holdings". We now wish to pay particular tribute to Edith Hlawati's achievements as a recognised legal expert who has consistently supported the Federal Ministry of Finance."
